Under the direction of the Education Director, this individual is responsible for training, educating, coaching and mentoring clinical nurse managers and directors at Dimensions Healthcare System. This position requires a current license in good standing as a Registered Nurse in Maryland/Compact State and a BSN degree.
Principle duties of the position include mentoring, training and providing retention initiatives for Nurse Managers at DHS; coordinating and implementing quarterly nurse manager orientation programs; providing on-going consultation with nurse managers at all DHS facilities regarding concerns on their units; and developing a comprehensive nurse manager continuing education program for the development and growth of nurse managers.
Minimum
Qualifications:
BSN degree, MSN preferred
Current license in good standing as a RN in Maryland/Compact state
Five (5) years experience as a nursing manager or in a leadership development role
Demonstrated experience teaching/coaching/mentoring other professional
Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum and training materials and to implement training
Excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
MSN office, intermediate level skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
