Work Opportunities Unlimited is looking for energetic individuals to join our Career Services Team in the Hyattsville area. This is a community- based position with a coverage territory that includes the areas of Hyattsville, College Park, New Carrollton and Lanham.
Founded in 1982, Work Opportunities Unlimited is a community-based Human Service Organization that specializes in assisting those with barriers to find employment opportunities.
Responsibilities may include:
Community employment support
Job coaching in competitive community employment
On-going training
Direct support to individuals with disabilities
Providing transportation to and from the job site
Fostering relationships with companies in the community
On-going verbal and written communication with individuals team
Requirements:
Bachelors degree preferred
Valid drivers license and proof of automobile insurance
Human service experience preferred
This is a Part-Time position (approximately 20 to 30 hours per week) that require a Monday through Friday,8:00 AM to 5:00 PM availability.
As a community based position, travel in and around the Hyattsville, College Park, New Carrollton and Lanham and surrounding areas is required for this position. If you are enjoy positively affecting others and taking on new challenges, this position is for you.
The chosen candidate will also be required to submit to a criminal background and a motor vehicle record check that must meet company standards.
