We are looking for a candidate with following skills for our direct client.
Our client's new IT Infrastructure requires implementation of SharePoint SQL server database in development, test and production systems. The SQL Server DBA is responsible for maintaining Microsoft SQL Server instances throughout the enterprise. They are responsible for operational support, performance tuning and disaster recovery for high visibility applications and data warehouses that utilize SQL Server. They follow best practices and are involved in defining and enhancing processes related to Microsoft SQL Server. They will also perform database patching, upgrades, backups and restores. In addition, the SQL server DBA will work with the iService IT SharePoint development team and ensure that other iService Teams are aware and conform to database standards.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED SKILLS
5 plus years of relevant experience required
Experience with Administering multiple versions of SQL Server including 2003 and 2008 R2
Knowledge and experience working with Windows Server 2008, SharePoint Index Server, clustering and related hardware.
Experience with Administering SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services (SSRS) and the SQL Server Relational Database
Experience in designing disk layouts for database, virtual machine and SAN experience preferred
Experience in performance analysis and implementation of performance improvements using the Database Engine Tuning Advisor and the SQL Server Profiler
Experience with Subversion, Business Intelligence Development Studio, SQL Server Management Studio and BIDS
Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge on SharePoint 2010 is a plus
Microsoft SQL Server certification is a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
