Job Description:
Help desk clerk is an entry level position. You will need a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. You should have a basic understanding of electronics and computers. You must have a recent (within the last 2 years) A+ certification certificate. You must have troubleshooting skills with all Windows operating systems up to and including Windows 7.
MCP certification would be nice to have but not required. You must be willing to learn and take directions from management and coworkers. You will answer the phone and monitor service ticket request from end users. They will update and open service requests in Kesaya. Interpersonal skills are required. Help desk technician must have the ability to listen and ask questions to diagnose and solve computer issues. This job also requires strong written skills since helpdesk techs. will have to write e-mails and update tickets. Another requirement is the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
