Defense Point Security is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill a role as an Security Documentation Specialist. This position requires previous experience in related IT security fields.

Responsibilities:
Supports the C&A or A&A process by updating system security documents
Prepares security assessment plans and rules of engagement for assessment activities
Prepares security assessment reports documenting issues, findings, and recommendations from, security controls assessments.

Qualifications:
This position requires US Citizenship due to our Federal contractual obligation.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other relevant subject area.
3 plus years with experience reviewing and producing quality system security documentation.
Experience interviewing key staff, examining existing documentation, and updating or producing system security plans to reflect the current security control implementation of the system.
Able to communicate effectively orally, in writing, and in presentations.
Able to work collaboratively with others to complete high quality deliverables on time.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to effectively format and edit technical publications, including writing, editing, and graphics.
Ability to perform document management and technical editing.
Knowledge of FISMA compliance, OMB requirements and guidance, NIST standards and guidance is preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
