IT Specialist

As an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), you will:
- Plan, lead and execute system implementations and upgrades that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts. This includes testing the functionality and operability of the system; writing/editing test scripts; coordinating and performing user acceptance testing. - Perform senior role in analyzing production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance. - When necessary, lead efforts with developers or vendors to identify more complex coding issues and solve problems for the OneVoice CRM system or other systems as needed. - Serve as liaison on all system matters. This includes working closely with contractors, developers, project managers, business analysts and end users in the system administrator role to ensure that the systems meet the technical needs and requirements. - Provide expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues regarding the OneVoice CRM and ETFM systems; revise existing policy for use by other IT specialists, line managers, or contractors. Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility at the GS-12 level in the Federal service or equivalent, which have equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience working on and managing enterprise scale cloud-based projects such as:
utilizing project management/planning tools and standards, coordinating project resources, and communicating with senior management. Examples of such experience could include:
- Coordinating and performing the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of software releases, patches, enhancements and system corrections supporting Cloud based systems; OR - Experience with leading the implementation of a variety of cloud-based technology such as developing cloud based infrastructure with code; OR - Developing, implementing and documenting cloud compliancy-policies and procedures for operating, managing and ensuring the security of data in the cloud; OR - Experience working as a senior project manager in an IT Shared Services environment with multiple product lines. This includes the ability to lead high profile projects, working across multiple integrated project teams, balancing multiple initiatives, and prioritizing workload. AND In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must have IT-related proficiency in each of the four competencies listed below. - Attention to detail, such as analyzing system operations. - Customer Service, such as providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues. - Oral Communication, such as providing recommendations on expansions and upgrades. - Problem Solving, such as lead efforts with developers or vendors to identify more detailed coding issues and solve problems.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
