Health Policy Analyst

As a Health Policy Analyst you will:
Develop projects to identify, review, and analyze complex and highly visible actions such as public health legislation, executive directives, departmental policy issuances, voluntary changes in practice by influential organizations or groups, as well as other influential statements of public health policy to identify any potential to impact on the activities of the organization. Oversee a variety of program development activities for the organization. Apply knowledge of public health principle to the identification of strategic programmatic and scientific areas in need of strengthening as well as new areas for program development. Facilitate the development of the organization's comprehensive programmatic and scientific response to emerging public health issues relevant to the organization's mission-including the establishment of new activities. Lead special projects such as preparing decision papers relating to the funding of programs for use in briefings for a variety of officials, including White House and OMB officials and for getting decisions on major policy issues. Qualifications:
GS-9 I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 in the Federal service that incudes experience assisting in identifying and analyzing public health legislation, regulations, executive directives, and/or organization policy. OR Have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related from an accredited college or university. OR Have a combination of specialized experience and graduate education as described above. To combine education and experience, determine the applicant's total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level. Then determine the applicant's education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. GS-11 I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 in the Federal service that incudes experience developing health statistics responses to legislation and organizational stakeholders. OR Have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or completed three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M, or other field of study with course work directly related to the position. OR Have a combination of specialized experience and graduate level education that meets 100% of the qualification requirements for this position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
