RealStreet currently has a great opportunity for a Construction Estimator in Landover, MD.
This individual will support our client, a highly-reputable, woman-owned Design/Build contractor.

Job Responsibilities The Construction Estimator will provide estimating services to our client on Federal and commercial projects throughout the Washington, DC metro area.
Additional responsibilities of the Construction Estimator include:
Reviewing all bid and RFP documentation in order to gain a understanding of the project requirements Analyzing subcontractor and vendor bids, quotes and offers Conducting site visits when required to prepare estimates Ensuring complete project coverage by helping to determine what work will be in-house, self-preform vs.
subcontracting Preforming detailed takeoffs Conducting complex risk analysis activities Establishing, tracking and analyzing key metrics Creating and presenting reports to upper management Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key vendors, subcontractors and clients Job Requirements:
Requirements of the Construction Estimator role include:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction or a related field is preferred Three (3) or more years of experience as a construction estimator, to include:
A strong general knowledge of estimating and project management Experience supporting the contract bidding process is highly desirable Technical writing experience is a plus Experience preparing work plans is preferred Project scheduling experience is a plus Technical skills, including familiarity with:
Microsoft Office, the most recent version is preferred Estimating and project management software experience such as Timberline, RSMEANS or 4Clicks is a plus Strong analytical skills Must be a US Citizen Benefits RealStreet offers a comprehensive benefit package which includes:
